What is the Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care?
A qualification in adult social care plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and compassionate delivery of support to vulnerable individuals. It equips professionals with a comprehensive understanding of knowledge and principles that underpin the sector. This Level 3 qualification is designed to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of the underlying principles required for a variety of job roles in the adult health and social care sector including: equality and diversity, safeguarding, duty of care, health and safety, person centred approaches and handling information.
You must be aged 16 or over and have a minimum level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent to enrol on this course.

about your duty of care and the role of a social worker

about health and safety and how to handle information in social care

Course Delivery
This is an online course and you have up to a year to complete. As it is self paced, you may complete the course in a shorter timeframe.
As a student you have access to our learning site where all course notes and resources are provided. You may be required to do additional research to complete the assignments.
