Was the recent implementation of employability topics in the Childcare curriculum effective?

I have opted to research a topic where I wanted to understand the progression routes for Childcare Level 2 and 3 groups after completing the program. Employability was recently embedded in the curriculum to provide learners with skills to enable them to progress into further education or secure a job once they the course. This will help me understand if the implementation of employability topics was effective and if learners are equipped with skills needed to secure a job in early years settings or progress further in their education.

I understand that this action research will enable me as a Tutor/Assessor of Childcare, to identify areas for improvements and gain insight of what’s needed to be changed/added. I wanted to ensure that the skills and knowledge acquired during the course has enabled learners to find a job or progress further in their education. I designed my research to include my learners from both classes Monday Level 3_ 18 learners, and Thursday Level 2 _ 8 learners. (26 learners in total)
